I thought the world, including mine will have a bright beautiful weekend. I lay late in bed with my eyes glued on TV watching the horrific site unfold, as the furious wave after wave dismantle Japan. My heart broke as I watched. It was hard to even imagine what the people has gone through. My mind raced as I think of my relatives in Tokyo. I frantically dialed their number to no avail.
I finally got hold of my niece's sister the following day. They were OK and still are. I hope, as I write this post. Yna wrote on her facebook page how glad she was, to hear her sister over the phone as she recounted her terrifying experience and laughed as she narrated what her son, who was stranded in Tokyo asked, "my TV daijobu?", meaning-" is my TV okay?"
Hundreds of thousands of people left homeless and dazed. They, not only lost TV, but family.
Join me in my prayer for Japan.
